- Weekend Warriors (October 18 thru October 21)
Location
- Located in Utah
- Located in the Bay Area

- Other locations
Below is a list of positions we're looking to fill. This is only a partial list - there are many areas you can help even if your name is not written on any of these positions.
- Science Teachers for help with the Light Racer Science Curriculum.
As you can see at the Ligher Racer education page, we're developing a Science and Math curriculum based on the Light Racer platform. Anything and everything from the Inverse Square Law to gravity, lunar geology and the history of our exploration program. We're looking for Science educators to help with the lesson plans. We're also looking for a good free-hand illustrator that can help with sketches. These tasks can obviously be done remotely.
- Guides
Are you good at explaining and talking to people? Do you have Dr. Edwards book and our FAQ memorized? We're looking for people to help with exhibits and act as guides at various stations on the grounds. Being a Space Elevator enthusiast is a prerequisite!
- Good organizers
Good organizers are soooo hard to come by. Which probably means you're busy. But if by any chance you're both a good organizer and are available and like Space stuff, we could sure use you. We're looking for a person in the Bay Area that will be able to work with us on a daily basis, and a person in the SLC area that can meet with suppliers and vendors.
- Local businesses sponsorship getters
We are looking folks in the SLC area that can help with selling sponsorship packages to local businesses. Sponsorship packages include Light Racer prizes, on-site Banners, spots on the program and tickets, etc.
- Electronics engineer
We are looking for someone with free time, in the San Francisco bay area, that can help us with some of the circuits we need to build, such as race timers for the Light Racers. This position is in the bay area since we need to interface some of these gadgets to the rest of our equipment.
If you think you can pick up any of these tasks (or other ones!) please give us a call - 650-793-4987, or
Thanks,
The Spaceward Crew
